~We Actually Have Plans This Weekend!~

Hey everyone! This day started out on the busier side of things. I washed some laundry in the tub, hung the clothes to dry, vacuumed the house, took out the garbage, searched for my husband's wallet that he lost (AGAIN)-still can't find that anywhere and the kids did some school work.
As for this weekend-we actually have some plans. Amazing! This evening after my husband gets off work we are going to get some hot chocolate and take the kids to look at Christmas lights around town! =) We do this every year and they love it!
Then as most of you know tomorrow evening we are going to that free basketball game. =)
I'm excited to keep my mind off moving and everything for the weekend. And I'm excited because we don't usually go anywhere. It will be a nice change!

It's one of the easiest, simplest and cheapest things one can do with the family, but it is one thing that seems to bring so much joy to everyone! I love taking my own kids around town looking at all the Christmas lights. It's so much fun!

@moffittjc It is amazing how fun it is when it is something anyone can do! =) We have a blast doing it every year as well, I'm as excited about it as the kids are. Lol

That is wonderful that you are getting out to do things as the family this weekend. I still love going to look at the Christmas lights. This weekend I plan to do a lot of shopping and hopefully get it all done. That is my plan anyway.

Maybe Santa can get your husband one of those trucker's wallets. Comes with a chain that attaches to the belt loop. Mine had one and never lost his wallet.
Sounds like you'll be busy enough to keep the worries away. You need some fun time.
I also recall washing laundry in the tub myself. Have you ever tried using a plunger? I bought a new one just for doing laundry. It pushes the soapy water through the clothing and makes it easier to wash the clothes.

No I don't. I have to conserve my gas as I have to work in another city on Monday..and it is not close by. I don't plan to go anywhere really except for a trip to get rid of some household trash..exciting huh??

I did have plans for today before I got sick. I was going to see A Christmas Carol. My nephew is acting in the play again this year. But I've gotten too sick to go out and now that it's snowing so badly, I'm not sure I would have been able to go anyway! Have a wonderful time!

You're so happy to enjoy the coming weekend and all the preparation work for Christmas, just like what we do before our Spring Festival.
We were also very excited to count the steps of the festival, because it mean to gather all family members around and celebrate the festival with many delicious dishes, snacks, candy, new clothes and new toys-for children, that'll be the happiest time of the year!

I am happy for you! You deserve a day/ night out.
Tony had wanted to go to p.c. Florida this weekend to see his family but he cant hold up to the 5 hour ride.SO I am happy to stay home.
