My second daughter isn't feeling well

I got a call from my kids' daycare a little after 3 this afternoon. The lady at the daycare explained to me that my daughter was sick and was throwing up. I obviously left as soon as I got the call. While getting them ready, she got sick again. She got sick once more since we arrived home.
She's clearly not feeling well. As a parent, it's hard to see your kids not feeling well. But that's the way it is sometimes. We all get sick. I just hope she feels better soon.

Nothing is worse than seeing your child sick. And unfortunately, it's just part of life, although you wish you could protect them from all the germs and illnesses out there! I hope your daughter feels better quickly.

@moffittjc That's very true. I may not like it, but it's good for their immune system. Thanks!

@dodo19 Just look at it from a positive point of view...every time they get sick, they are actually building up their immunity system! The more they are sick when they are little, the stronger their immune system will be when they get older.

I am sorry to hear that. I can understand your worries. Occasionally I will pick up a phone from the teacher and notify me that my child is sick in the school. I rush to the school immediately and then take him to home or go to see a doctor. I hope your daughter will get well soon. Best wishes!

@dodo19 Sometimes I think vomit is not a very bad thing. As long as you throw out the bad food or something like that, you can get well sooner. It is better that it stays in your stomach. Usually this kind of problem is not so serious. Sometimes taking the medicine once or twice will be recovered.

It can be worrisome when it happens. She did seem to be feeling a little better before she went to bed, which is good. So, I think she'll be feeling better soon. If not, then it'll definitely be a trip to the doctor's. Thankfully there's a clinic close by.

With all the throwing up she should have whatever it is out of her system soon. I hate getting sick. And, that feeling of nausea. Awful. So unfair that kids have to get sick at all.

I don't like that nauseating feeling either. Not pleasant. I don't like seeing my kids get sick. I wish they didn't have to get sick at all. Thankfully, she did seem a little better before going to bed. So, I'm hoping that with a good night sleep, whatever she had will be gone.

Did you have her check to the doctor? what was the result of it? I hope there's a proper medication for her illness. You think it's something she ate?

I didn't take her to the doctor's yet. I thought maybe best to just take her home to rest. She did seem a little better before bed, which does seem like a good sign. But if she's not feeling better, then we'll definitely take her to the doctor's. It could have been something she ate, but I'm not sure.

It is difficult to see anyone not feel well, but especially children. Hope she is better soon.

It's definitely not easy to see your kids sick. I definitely don't like him. As you said, sometimes, all you can do is comfort them, be there when they're sick, and let them know that you're there and it's going to be okay. Thankfully, she did seem a little better before she went to bed. Fingers crossed.
