I ran away to the end of my road where there was a graveyard from the Revoluntionary War. I was 8 and packed a small cloth suitcase with books, my diary, and some peanut butter sandwiches.
After awhile I noticed that no one had discovered I was missing and went home. I guess Iwas a quiet kid or my mother just enjoyed the break.

LOL! Now that i can relate to!!I don't think anyone in my family ever realized I was gone !!But I can honestly say I do not remember why I "ran away",but I definately learned with 8 brothers and sisters, running away got me some solitude.I enjoyed the piece.

Sometimes when we run in the wrong direction,we are so successful at it we wind up being too far away to turn around and run back to what we need.

I ran away once and came back 5 hours later as no one realized I was gone.
