i did when i was reading the story trouble the monkey eat pepper it sounds just the way its written the monkey got himself into trouble because he saw ma minnie holding a gourd of malases and she was walking stumped her toes and the malases fell down and cracked now the syrup was all over the ground and he heard the old woman say say ah look at all my trouble.he then saw her picking up the malasses and licking it he becomes curious and then goes to take a taste so he decides to go to market to get some trouble so when he arives at market he tells the shopkeeper he wants to buy trouble.he then say you want to buy trouble do you know what trouble is'' the monkey says yes accepts the bag holding the bag he then says this heavy'' i cant wait to enjoy my trouble the monkey went somewhere by himself licks his finger in anticipation only to find out its too hungry dog which he then runs up the tree while the dog continue to bark on the bottom.the monkey hungrier and hungrier and took one hot pepper and chewed on it it burned his tongue off. and he jumped into a stream of water and thats the end of the story its really funny and one of my favorites as a kid growing upits by rita cox and i think you'll enjoy it you go here to get it for yourself
