WHAT`S YOUR REASON FOR PRISON?

December 21, 2016 11:31am CST
Is your life in control of you, or you are in control of your life? Well, it`s not all black and white, right? There are some things we can control and some others that we can`t. What are you not able to control? If your answer is – earthquakes, the weather or something like that, you are off the hook. If you have habits that control you, such as smoking, compulsive exercising, cleaning, eating, need to know where your child is all the time... – we are on the same page. Have you ever tried to get rid of these habits? Been there. OMG! They are so annoyingly persistent and keep coming back all the time. And why? Because they enjoy playing games with us? Because they don`t have better things to do, or some other people to bother? Or because we are not strong enough to fight them? They try to protect us from dealing with real issues because dealing with real issues can be painful. Bad habits are like caring mums who wouldn’t let their children ride a bike because they could fall off and hurt themselves. So growing a bad habit is like being a beautiful child without scars, but incapable or riding a bike, climbing a tree or swimming. What do you think? Can a person still be this beautiful child and have all the fun in the world?

Welcome to Mylot! Some habits that don't serve us should be discarded in order to have more fun.

Agree. Did you do that with some of them? What do you do if they come back?
