My brother asked me if I can send apples for them this Christmas.
So I bought them a box of Apples yesterday.
It was Fuji Apples from China.
I really intend to buy the original Fuji Apples but it is too expensive.
I sent it through a forwarding service that will reach their place on Saturday, just in time for Christmas.

That's great! Your brother will surely love it. I envy because you have that sweet relationship with your brother. I wonder how is my brother right now. His wife unfriend me in Facebook for a reason which is I don't know.

@magallon I agree. Just forgive and forget. Oh, I also mentioned about that in my blog. My latest article was ways to be happy. You are right about forgiving and forgetting.

Yes, this kind of apples taste nice. In fact there are also other apples grow in some places in China and they all taste well. Here now the most popular apples are from Xinjiang because they taste very sweet. And there is a new kind of apples called "ugly apples" are also delicious. So sometimes we can't judge the appearance of apples

The original Fuji apples are indeed sweet and crispy. I'm sure your brother and his family will have a great time eating that box of apples though.

Something healthy is a good gift, apples are cheaper now since we imported from China. During the dictator era, apples and grapes were so expensive only the rich could afford them, they came only from the US.

I never heard of that superstition that apples bring safety. Maybe this New Year we will buy apples and other fruits to bring good luck to the family

I thought you have made a mistake, in Chinese, apple's pronunciation just similar to safety's, not means to stay safe for someone.
