Our Christmas Tree

My friend @just4him asked me recently to post a picture of our Christmas tree, so I’m finally getting around to doing it. I don’t know if I’ll be on here much, if at all, tomorrow --- so now would be the time to post it lol.
My sister and brother-in-law like to use themes to decorate the tree, which is always fun. It was supposed to be a “sweet tree” this year. You know, ornaments of Christmas cookies, gingerbread men, etc. However, they realized we have more Santa themed ornaments and it would be easier to do the tree Santa themed this year. The kiddies decorated of course, which is fine. We all enjoyed doing it as kids, so now it’s their turn. I love the Santa hat tree topper though! All we need to do is lay out the tree skirt and we can start putting presents under the tree (preferably on Christmas Eve. Why give the pets time to mess with them lol?). :D
I don’t think the pets have bothered the tree all that much; they don’t seem to really care about it. So here is to hoping those little rascals leave the presents alone come this weekend lol.
Alrighty, I’m wrapping this post up. I’ll be back in a bit for the Gratitude Challenge. :)
Photo Credit: I snapped and own this photo, so please do not save or repost it without my permission. Thank you.

@tammys85 Got it done but I'm exhausted after 3 straight days of socializing. Now I feel like I'm getting a cold and hubby DEFINITELY has a cold. I may be tired but I still can't sleep well because that's the nature of my illness.

It's a beautiful tree Tammy- and I love themed trees too- kind of expensive to keep on top of that though- mine is generally traditional.

Thanks! Nah, we just stick to the same few themes and rotate 'em, so we basically have what we need unless something gets damaged (i.e., a flood damaged a good chunk of our Victorian themed ornaments so we need to replace them at some point).

Your tree is very pretty! I hope the pets don't mess with it. My dog loves anything peppermint so she broke an ornament by robbing a candy cane off the tree! Grrr. Lol
