Are Ponds Cold Cream good for skin in winter?

December 23, 2016 12:30am CST
In India winter is mild. In Kolkata we have 10 -11 degree centigrade. People use Ponds Cold Cream in December January. Is it good for skin? Is it safe to use it knowing that there are chemicals in cold creams.

I don't know the answer to that one as I don't use cold creams.

@sathviksouvik No it doesn't. Though it does need to go below zero for 14 days in order to kill all the bacteria. Right now there is a lot of colds and flu going around because the weather has been so up and down.

@just4him Yes Valerie, I agree weather fluctuations can cause cough and cold.

Thanks Valerie. What do you use in winter. I stayed in Cleveland, Ohio for 1 year. Temperatures used to go down below 30 degree in January. I think Wisconsin must be very cold. But you are blessed with snow. It does not allow germs to grow.

Perhaps it is safe and a lot like other products. You can give it a try.
