Some will ask which essential oils that works for you, tell us, and some others will say, don't do that its dangerous, and the skeptical will say I am not sure it really works. So for all those kind of questions, I do have an answer but it might not be the answer you want or like or else. I do work with oils because I discovered for myself that they really work for me, and because it doesn't give me any nasty side effects that other products in the pharmacy does. I turned toward these oils and (herbs) because nothing else was helping me, for my arthritis and varicose vein problems and sinus, and the last one my teeth cavities problems ( which needs a dentist, for the holes in one of them because I can't fix that). But anyway to come back to the essential oil, it help me, it doesn't mean it cures me but helps me greatly to feel a lot better. I am not advertising any company like that, but I just sharing my experience with those oils, lots of people don't even know that such a thing is on the market. I mean I can find some of my oils in a grocery store . You can make some research on those things for sure, and help yourself...I used for my mixture that is good for colds, sore muscles: about 1/4 of a cup of olive oil and a tablespoon of coconut oil, than I add 6 drops of peppermint essential oil , plus 6 drops of lavender oil, 6 drops of eucalyptus and 2 drops of oregano, and 5 drops of thym. Have a good weekend. photo from me.

I don't use essential oils...but I don't visit the pharmacy either. If I try to eat and follow a healthy lifestyle I seem to stay healthy.

I am happy that just eating well helps you. But there comes a time that the body needs a nodge here and there. But like I am saying this is just a topic to talk about, not a prescription.

Thanks for the advice. I like to use essential oils too. Knowing how to use the oil properly for the ailment you wish to treat -- that is where most folks don't know HOW to use them properly to get the desired result. Then they are frustrated or have a side affect. For example, peppermint oil that you mention - used in a diluted form is safe for use on bare skin. But in full concentrate - can sting or cause a "chemical burn" on sensitive skin. With essential oils - the user must be proactive in learning how & when to use the oil. Listening to the "western doctor" and taking a pill - is more passive in regards to health care. You are trusting someone else to do what is best for you. Not always a wise choice!
