Participation is the main thing to earning. Comments and responses are very important, even more so than posts because this site is run on interaction.

Hello and welcome - it's a great site. If you read the Guidelines (under the 'help' button on your profile page) that will give you a good idea. You won't earn a lot but it's fun. Read and comment on other people's posts and they will most likely come back to yours. Good luck.

@mymoneycottage I was on Bubblews too, and lots of us are here. The main difference here is that it's more of a discussion site, and you don't earn from anything you write yourself. You only earn from people's reaction to you, their responses on your posts, replies to your comments and their 'likes'.
So you don't earn anything directly from the post you have written here, but you will earn from this comment I am writing to you.

Great, thank you, I'll go and have a look there now. I was a member of bubblews many moons ago although I had a different username back then. Still, I recognise many of the names on here and look forward to catching up.

Welcome to myLot! You'll find a great community here with people from all over the world. Just start discussions and respond to discussions with topics that interest you. As long as you follow the guidelines, which aren't really strict, you'll be fine. I find that myLot is a good way to wind down and get things off your mind, have nice conversation, or get advice.

welcome! always nice to 'see' new folks findin' their way here. i understand that'cha came from 'that other place' 'n hopefully yer gonna find some folks here that're familiar. many've their same pen names, which 'tis most helpful, lol.
fer myself, 't works the same purty much. jest find those discussions that spark somethin' 'n respond. interaction with others 'tis key, 's with most relationships.

If I don't know the answer to something I guarantee I'll know someone who does
PS...some do the "you respond to me I respond to you thing here"...I do not do that.
If I respond to you it is because I'm interested in what you have written, there is no expectation on my part for you to respond to one of my discussions...I'd actually prefer it if you didn't do that
I rarely write anything and when I do if it doesn't interest you don't respond just because I responded to you...I'd prefer responses from people interested in the topic
