For those who look at the pictures such as me it is a source of envy kind of. But tell me do you really enjoy White Christmas? I do not think so going by what I read here. However, there could still be many who look forward to White Chrisitmas. Are you one of them?

I loved white Christmas only if I did not have to drive to work in that mess.

White Christmas also involves going out which mean it is not all that grand as some of us ignorant tend to believe (lol)

@allknowing maybe fresh snow, to touch and taste it, lie in it, then back in the house!

I want to experience a white Christmas in my life time. I don't know if it will happen or will come true.

@averygirl72 The saying 'what can;t be cured has to be endured' is what is seen with those who have to put up with extreme weather.

I had that opportunity but my niece out there discouraged me as she was not sure if I could withstand the cold

@allknowing Yeah that's my worry too. Some cold weather here makes me uncomfortable how much more when there is snow or ice.

@shubhu3 I am not sure you will enjoy living in a cold country after being used to the normal Indian climate.

Most pictures that are available on wikimedia commons are real. Here is one that my friend sent me a long time ago. She is an Indian settled down in America

I had my share of shoveling and driving in it and not really wanting to do that again... Maybe just a visit to a snowy place is okay, but not like a permanent basis...

A visit when it snows is what I longed for but that never happened despite holidaying in countries that had the prospect.

As one gets older it becomes difficult to withstand extreme climate.

I'm like you and have quite gotten over the wish for seeing snow although it would still be nice. There certainly seems to be a lot of downsides to the lovely white stuff.

I love winter. I love snow. I enjoy all the winter activities like snowshoeing, cross country skiing, skating, and going for a walk in the brisk winter air. It is white and cold here and I will be out there walking. It is easy to bundle up in clothes that keep me warm. I can never be comfortable outdoors when it is hot. Plenty of people complain most of the winter.

The scenery no doubt is beautiful but snow does come in the way of normal life.
