Engaging and lively, oh I wonder....

New here, so what would you tell... Read the "help" section, right? That's just what I did! Very honestly, straight to the Earnings program FAQ! ;) Aha! It's simple. Whenever we participate in a discussion or start one, we make a contribution that is eligible for earnings. Very simple indeed! But then came the next answer. The tricky one. What we earn depends on how interesting and valuable our posts are. This got me thinking, what if the topic I find very interesting to discuss about has no attention and goes unnoticed? According to mylot then, I won't earn anything! Oh, so there is the twist! I wonder how all of you manage to attract the crowd. Making friends and connecting with people of the same interest as you is all there. But, will that still not be a short group? And I think I read the discussions should not target a small audience. So how do you manage to come up with such lively and engaging topics? Do you browse the net or you know what interests the people here already? I wonder....

As far as i have observed, getting 30 comments on a discussion would be the normal average of a good discussion. Though many popular topics are very casual everyday happenings kinda topics.

my advice would be to not worry about the comment count. You could earn just as much if you posted no discussions and just commented on everyone else's discussions. there are many people doing that and earning payout with ease. so don't stress..you can earn either way.

@ms1864 Hurray! So I can comment on others' discussions and still earn! Boy, I did not think of that. So I need not even think of something to talk about because there is a topic already. All I need to do is talk to that person about the topic and I have fun and get paid. This is fun!

Hey Manisha. So according to your observation standards, my discussion has not hit the average number. which means my discussion isn't a good topic! Nevertheless, I have learnt what it takes to be a good discussion. Nice meeting you

Write about what you like to write. How "interesting" a discussion is, it's only judged according to how many comments it gets. Do not worry too much, write what you like more and interact with others. It's not difficult.

I learnt it from your discussion. Thanks for landing here and nice meeting you. My job is to share what I like and keep the discussion lively and entertaining. I wish I am able to sit here 24*7.. but know what? I study. I have college every day and so, turning up is going to be tough. I will definitely make some time for this amazing website, though!

Hey, looks like we are sailing in the same boat (the one that has just left the shore). YES, we need to hunt for the ways, and do let me know if you get to know the right one. I did read the help section but I am unsure how a lot of people will get to our discussion and respond or comment. Nice knowing you :)
