I felt upset.

Once, I was shopping in bazar and I saw Some people following and punishing a boy.I asked from one of them,"What is going on".He replied that a boy has stolen an apple from a fruit stall.I felt very upset because of the people who were punishing the poor boy for stealing an apple to eat instead of helping the poor boy. What will you do if you saw a poor boy stealing something to eat?

I would buy him one for sure...and try to make him aware that what he did was wrong

It's just because of AN apple?? I would let him go after giving him advice so he stops stealing any more.
