A day off: Do you prefer a beach or a pool?

December 26, 2016 6:17pm CST
So, guys... Tomorrow I'll have a day off from my job. I'm going out with some friends, but we're undecided about where we're going. After much conversation, we were left with two options: beach and pool? Which one would you choose?

My choice would be the beach, every time.

Beach, because a stroll along the beach is nicer than along the poolside

@TheInvisibleMan Never. Plus you can't make sand castles at the pool can you?

@cahaya1983 There's no mistake with the beach, right?

Since there is no beach in my city, so there is no choice for me... But if I have to choose one of them, be sure I will choose the beach because it is lots of fun. Even if I don't swim, I can still play in the beach with the sands. Here in summer we usually go to the water park. So we can not only swim inside, but also have fun.

I would prefer the beach. I like pools and beaches but going to a pool around here is both expensive and not as much fun as in other parts of the world. Where I live, I think the nearest beach must be about 100 miles and 2 or 3 hours by road so not something we tend to do without planning.

Well they both have their place, but in general, a beach, since I don't like the cholorine in pools. Pools are generally crowded too.

I would recommend beach - - there are more "beautiful" things to "side-see"!

I have a pool here, but am close to the beach. Such choices! I love them both. Have fun wherever you go.

I prefer the pool. I like the smell of the beach and walking on the sand but I hate the ocean water. I also don't like getting all sticky from the salt water, the sand gets everywhere and in everything.

Woah! That's a tough one. Usually the choice is between hill and beach and me being a water sign pick beach without thinking twice.

Depending on a few factors. I like beaches because I like the saltiness of the the water on my skin. The sand castles that you can make and I feel more alive with the brisk air. Depending on time of year that is. Pools: Not getting sand in your bathing suit. Chlorine smell makes me feel fresh unlike the beach. The pool because you are typically cleansed with all that chlorine unless you have fresh water pools than I think I would rather swim in the ocean.
