Is making new friends ( meeting new people online or chat rooms with a clear status of meeting new friends only) really bad in a relationship? is it consider as cheating your gf / bf or your other half? its not like your meeting them for real or making plans to date them... just to have a good conversation and learning things in another people's perspective in life.

Some bf/gf are very possessive and jealous and are suspicious of everything. These kind of people want to know everything and control everything. I would run from these as they only spell trouble for the future. Of course, if we are spending too much time with online friends and neglecting our bf/gf then that is also not healthy.

Of course it's not cheating..unless you start flirting with them. You never know when you need friends in times of need. But be careful whom you be friendly with.

Yeah I know. Its nice to talk and spend time with friends. But its kind of weird when a friend starts to have other feelings than being friends only.

No you're not cheating. If your intention is pure friendship only then you are not doing anything bad. It's normal ti make friends. Just tell your partner that you're chatting someone or Makibg friends with someone to avoid misunderstanding.
I admire the guys who tell their partner everything.

my boyfriend knows about it. he actually encourage it. ^_^ he said he trust me that much. Im a very straight and forward person. i tell right away the status of my relationship when asked. other people gets it. but some made a judgement already that its cheating. im feeling sad for them.
