A little family feast!

Today, I was invited over by my maternal aunt for spending some time with her. She lives nearby so she made me stay a little late. And then when dinner time approached she surprised me with a delicious dinner! It was more of a post-exam treat for me! It feels good to have your family tend to you every once in a while isn't it?

@SIMPLYD ha ha I don't know about that. There are many nieces like me so I am not really sure who's her favorite but she does care a lot for me and my sisters alike. And since I live the nearest to her, I get all her attention!

@JudyEv Yes, indeed! My maternal aunt is a mother figure for me and my two sisters, just like our mother is for her children. My siblings and her children grew up together and owing to the proximity of our residences we are like a closely knit family.

Hope you enjoyed your treat well. It is really very nice of your aunt to give you a surprise delicious dinner. It is really very sweet of her. It shows how much your aunt loves you. You are really blessed to have a very nice aunt like her.
