I always enjoy the holidays, all the decorating and extra cooking and family and such, but when Thanksgiving and Christmas are over it's time to move on. I took down my Christmas tree yesterday and am storing away the rest of the decorations today. New Year's Day is the day we replace our calendars (yippee!). How about you? Do you go in for an extended holiday season (Thanksgiving to New Year's) or are you like me and put it away after Christmas?

Best to enjoy them for awhile after doing all the work to put them up.

I like to have them up for the family, but after Christmas I take them down soon because our house isn't that big and I miss the space.

@clrumfelt I can certainly understand. We're lucky that we have the room. If our space was smaller, I'd probably do the same.

We go right through December itself to January the 6th here so by the time that day has come you are ready to pack it in and pack it all away albeit with a bit of sadness too.

We haven't had our tree up for very long since we're in the middle of moving and we weren't sure where we were going to be for Christmas at first. I think either today or tomorrow I will take the tree down though.
