Who wouldn't want to?
Some of you may have not given it much time or thought. Lets give it a go.
Want to share some of my ideas with you that I currently use and invite the audience to post some of their tips. With just mine alone the savings for the year would allow for a small weekend getaway perhaps.
Electricity bill-unplug, unplug and unplug---TVs,computers, cell phones, microwaves, coffee pots, lamps, etc when done using them. Also use natural light instead of fixture lighting as much as possible.
Make your grocery list and stick to it-no last minute in your face end cap items that are set up to catch your eye and throw into your cart. Leaving the kids at home helps with this one. Also don't overbuy. If you're only going to eat a pound of grapes in a week, that's all you buy. Waste is throwing money away. I even shop 3 days at a time since my store is so close, so that way its for exactly what i need.
Price shop for Life, Car and Homeowners insurance. It takes some time and phone calls. You'd be amazed.
Coffee stops at your favorite coffee shop----if you do it 3 x a week, limit yourself to once and take an appropriate insulated mug from freshly made home coffee.
That is my one cent.. I mean two cents :) :):) Lets see what other good ideas are out there. Ready, set and go...

So many ways to save, yet you know some won't try!
One thing we learned to do years ago was to buy better food. Healthier choices improve health, which is a savings for many.

I agree; some people just don't know where to look to find cheap, healthy food.

Also, try free and at home entertainment, such as watching movies online or from your library instead of going to the movies. And think about if you really need cable. I never had cable as a kid and can't imagine why you'd need it, but some do.
