Oh, my, time has gone by so quickly!
We moved to the rural suburbs last October. It was quite a dive, delving deeper into a receptacle of massive decisions in our lives [( the plunge allowed me to be poetic :-)] Scary. But we delight to see ourselves trusting God our future.
We now live closer to our children (except one) and grand kids. The area is still rural that some of the surroundings are preserved State forests. Closer to shops, schools and hubby's work.
My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on the 27th of December. It was fantastic to have a date-out with the love of my life.
As always, we believe that God has "crowned our days with His goodness and loving kindnesses." We trust that it's going to be a fruitful year in 2017!

I just came across this discussion so I know this is late but I'd still like to congratulate you on 30 years of marriage. That's certainly a milestone and quite an accomplishment in this day and age. It's wonderful that some of us are truly blessed to have found our soul mates. My 47th just passed in November. It still shocks me whenI say it!
Anyway, we've banged heads quite a bit and I'm sure we will again but life is far more than political opinions and characters. I hope you enjoy being closer to your family. There's nothing better or more important, in my humble opinion coming from a Yankee liberal progressive!

Thank you @anniepa I accept your good wishes for me and my family. I do humbly wish you had a blessed 47th Anniversary, and a blessed many more years of happy anniversaries for you and your husband, as well.
You are right. Relationships and life are far more valuable than opinions and characters. And opinions and our character do matter in relationships. :-). You are much loved and precious in my eyes, even if we differ in opinions, thoughts and loyalties. :-)
I do appreciate you, @anniepa ever since we met at myLot.

@everwonderwhy Right back at ya, I appreciate you too. I enjoy the back and forth debate, that's why I'm on this site. I think when it comes down to it most of us hhave more in common than whatever our differences may be.
