What, am I back on Bubblews?

This is a bit of a rant. I teach at a Community College. I am a good teacher, and take pride in getting student assignments back to them the very next class period. When my Fall class was done, I got the grades done in a timely fashion, and tried to enter them on the appropriate website. I entered my id and password. That's when I entered the land of Bubblews.
"Your password is incorrect. There is now one strike against you." One strike against me? YOUR website is screwed up (as it often is) and you're accumulating strikes against me? I tried to "reset my password." That led to another strike against me. Once I had accumulated five strikes (seven leads to death), trying to get into my own account, I called User Support. "We are closed for the Holidays..."
Finally, I found a (time) window where I could e-mail User Support. They actually got back to me, reset my account, and I was able to rest my password and turn in my grades. I found it funny that when I was in the "you've got to be kidding me" zone, it made me think of Bubblews. The psychologists call that feeling "learned helplessness" or "feeling like one of Seligman's dogs." I call it "that Bubblews feeling."
Have you ever had something similar happen--where something happens and you're suddenly reminded of something else?

@TheHorse I agree with you I never felt comfortable either. When I first joined once you hit the minimum amount you could cash out, then they move the amount up and then to monthly,

I am not sure why that reminded you of Bubbs? I only felt hopeless there when they screwed me out of money!

@TheHorse I would rather not re-live those days LOL! I made a lot of money there so I can't really complain.

@AbbyGreenhill I made some decent money there too. And I'm only owed $200 or so. But I never felt "proud" to be a part of that website. Here, I do.

I get random flashbacks, often due to a sound, like the emotion in someone's voice. Certain levels of anger cause me to shut down, have a bit of a case of what maybe PTSD there.

@TheHorse I unfort have trouble sleeping and concentrating sometimes, and more panic attacks and the like. I can still mostly hide those in public though they are getting harder to do so

Interesting. I may have just a touch of PTSD because of my last job, where there was a lot of trauma, discrimination, etc. But only have occasional flashbacks to the bad times (most of the times were good) and I have no trouble sleeping or concentrating.

@TheHorse You do know that the bubbles will never go away if you don't stop blowing them? Now put that little wand down and save those bubbles for your kid clients. Or maybe tomorrow night you can blow them along with the bubbly you'll be drinking as you ring in the new year.

It happens from time to time. For example, I may laugh at an inappropriate time and then think back at a time when I had done it and the reaction of people around me.

That's awesome. I always liked finding out my grade right away. Sometimes when I get on my laptop I have that dread in me - will it freeze up in 2 minutes or will it actually let me type? Is that Schroedinger's cat analogy?
