Tasty Cornbread - try some!

Well, ok - there's no mutton gravy - however there is a big ole pot of collard greens on the stove top. The leaves have been cooked nice & tender. And - a successful batch of cornbread in my newly re-seasoned iron skillet from my grandmother. So many memories in the kitchen & dinner table with this piece of cookware. Thankful I'm still able to use it after so many years.

Made from scratch is always the best! No mutton gravy here either.

yea - mutton is something I picked up from the ex-pat Brits I used to hang out with... those silly cousins across the pond!

A well seasoned cast iron pan is the best!

What exactly is mutton Gravy? I've heard of mutton chops, but I'm sure that it's not along the same idea.

might be --- it's just a gravy made from the fat & tiny bits of meat....
