are you pro life or pro choice? and why? I believe a woman controls her body and if she decides to end a pregnancy it is her decision.. but with limitations.. there should be limits.. women have done this as a method of birth control! that is outragous! i think it also should be done as soon as possible and well before the 2nd trimester

I'm pro choice. It should be done in the first trimester whenever possible and only later if there are medical reasons for it. But I also think that if men could get pregnant you'd be able to get an abortion at McDonalds

I am all for pro-choice. I also agree that there should be limitations on it as well. It is not a form of birth control and shouldn't be used as one. And it should be done during the first trimester (unless there are medical reasons). There are enough "unwanted" children in our society. Don't get me wrong I don't believe there are "unwanted" children--but some are (I hope you understand what I'm saying). It kills me to see on the news and tv that the "STARS" need to go to another country to get a child when there are plenty right here in the US. they should really stay in their "own backyard" (so to speak).

i feel that alot of people adopt out of the country for 3 reasons.. and USUALLY only one of the 3.,..
#1 it can be cheaper (it costs an obscene amount of money to adopt, unless you do it through foster care first, and then of course you do risk losing the child from your family back to their birth parents)
#2 to try to match their own ethnicity
#3 publicity (unfortunately)
THAT NOT TO SAY THERE ARENT OTHER REASONS i jsut feel those are the most common

This is really a touchy subject. For me, I believe (a lot of people don't) that life begins upon conception.
I don't think it's right to abort unless you're in danger of losing your life. Even at that, there are women out there that will give up their lives to save the child.
There's a reason behind everything that happens to us, even though we may never know what that reason is. It could be that we're meant to go through certain things in order to help others, or...
God has a plan for everyone, whether you're in the womb or already in the world.

But who should set those limits? To whom should a woman have to prove that she meets those limits? If you feel that an early termination is not a life or not yet a life, why would it matter if a woman has 1 or 100? I wouldn't want my daughter to face multiple unplanned pregnancies & terminations, because any pregnancy puts a certain strain on the body. I'd also prefer she make good choices before pregnancy occurs. But that being said, some women are clearly more fertile than others. Some will try dozens of forms of birth control before finding the best form for them. And sadly some just aren't as gentle with their bodies as most of us choose to be. Our bodies are designed to become pregnant (even if our mind has other plans). A woman is fertile for up to 40 years of her life, and has 13 or so cycles per year. That's 100s of chances for pregnancies to occur. It's not unreasonable that some women, even careful women who use birth control correctly & faithfully, will find themselves facing multiple unplanned pregnancies in their lifetimes.
