Looking for a quick and budget friendly menu item this is a series that I will be doing every Friday. Possibly a recipe if you could come up with one. The menus item has to be budget friendly, between 10-15 dollars I suppose to prepare and make. So who has some ideas and maybe recipes?

Here's one I love. You need tube biscuits for the top and bottom, like Pillsbury biscuits. Spray an 8" square pan and line the bottom with biscuits and bake them till half done. Then top with a mixture of any kind of meat, a can of tomato soup, a cup of sour cream, a cup or so of sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup water or milk, and 2 beaten eggs. On top of that place the remaining uncooked tube biscuits and bake for about 20 minutes till biscuits are done and filling is not runny.
This is a delicious casserole. You can use any leftover meat although it's really great with cooked ground beef. Serves 4-6 people.
