HAPPY Saturday (and New Years Eve) to all of you. Just a few days ago I had bought a Fitbit from my sister for a deal of $20 (sweet!) And I am just discovering all of the cool and interesting things you can do with it. So far, you can track the amount of steps you have taken, the amount of calories you have burned, and the amount of sleep you get - including how many minutes you were awake and restless. This is pretty cool in my opinion especially as someone who doesnt sleep great all the time. I am still a beginner at it, so any suggestions are welcome. Do you use a Fitbit or similar device?

I am still a newbie but I enjoy it. It tracks your steps, calories burned, hours slept and what type of sleep you are getting. Still learning more about it though.

I have a Fitbit flex and I love it. I have had for a few years now. I like all the little things that it does. I also find it very motivating. When you are wearing it you move more because you want to reach the goal that you set for yourself. It is a great little device and you got a good deal on it too.

Yeah totally! Its super easy to use too so far. What kind of goals do you make? Step goals? Trying to figure out what a good starting goal for steps is.

@maezee I usually set my goal it for 10,000 but I try to get at least 12,000 or more. 10,000 is a good start.

Sounds like a useful app! I do use an agenda to keep track of what I eat and drink and I record that time I go to bed and the time I wake up. All the best!

I'm not able to move around enough to warrant getting one of those gadgets. But most people I know have something similar and they seem to live by the numbers now. I hope you have great luck and health with yours!

My boyfriend got me a Fitbit Charge 2 for Christmas. I enjoy it very much. The battery lasted for 6 days before I had to charge it again. I love that it tracks my sleep because I am a very restless sleeper. I also like that I can easily add what I have eaten today and the amount of water I have drank. Also that it tells me what hours of the day I was active. It tells me my heart rate, calories burned, miles walked, flights of stairs walked. I can set alarms on it, it notifies me when I get a call or a text message from my phone. It also reminds me to be active every hour. I like that it has a challenge tab as well and that I can join them.
