Keeping your circle small

Its amazing as when I was growing up I always wanted to have a ton of friends. I did like everyone for the most part and wasn't cliquey. As I became an adult I learned that its so hard to find real, true friends, who will have your back and be there through thick and thin, make you feel included, part of, same level, good about yourself. It was the person I was and I wanted the same in return, so to have instances where I was let down, I found myself wishing I could fix people. I later learned I didn't have to. Its not for me to change anyone. The only thing I needed to change was myself in that I had to pull my circle smaller. I had to weed out toxic. Its not the quantity, its the quality. Life is very enjoyable in my little circle.

Never allow too many people into the circle, as they can sink your life boat in a minute! Good to have a smaller circle and stay close.
