My mother is 59 today! January 2nd is an easy birthday to forget. In fact, on her 16th birthday, her parents forgot. Her mother had already passed, and her father and stepmother completely forgot about her birthday for weeks. I can't imagine that feeling... I have a friend who has a birthday on December 26th and I never forget to tell her Happy Birthday because people tend to forget too. It must be hard having a birthday following a major holiday. Do you have a birthday right before or after a major holiday or know someone who does? Does it get forgotten often?

That's sweet of you not to forget your mom's birthday around the holidays. I'm sure she loves you for it dearly. :-)

It has to be hard to have a birthday so close to a holiday or a big event or something. I feel bad that people forgot your mom's birthday for so long. I can't imagine what she must have felt during that time. You shouldn't forget people's birthdays like that, especially when they're the people who are important to you. Happy birthday to your mom! I hope she has a good day.

My birthday is usually during the time of Lent so most of the time, people forget.... even my parents! Hahaha so what they do is celebrate it Easter Sunday... because we can't celebrate on the day itself

Happy birthday to your mom. I know a few people whose birthday is Christmas day and they often get forgotten on their special day. My daughter in law's is the 28th of December and it does get overlooked with all the holiday celebrations.

Happy birthday to your mom! For me it's easy to remember birthdays that fall right after holidays as the holiday reminds me about the birthday.
