Should I "Petition" @McDonalds (McDonald's) to Change their B.O.G.O. Offer?

McD's

There's a McDonald's at the entrance to the WalMart "Neighborhood Market." So I eat there once-or-twice a week. Out of habit, I use a Buy One Get One (BOGO) coupon to get a free sandwich when I buy one. I get that coupon buy taking a survey (at McDVoice.com) with the receipt from my previous order there. And the survey includes a question that asks me to rate 'the variety of the menu'---I'm sure the menu has GREAT variety (I remember from 'seeing it at the restaurant' ), but it's a variety of choices I DON'T GET TO CHOOSE FROM if I want to get my BOGO freebie On my survey today (where they ask me to 'be specific about why I rated the way I did), I wrote, "good food, great price ..." as I always do (because most of the ratings I made were 'excellent/5-stars'). But--since I rated the "menu variety" with '3-stars/neither-like-nor-dislike'--I went on, "on the 'variety of menu-items,' I AM a little limited by 'only being able to order a quarter-pounder or egg-mcmuffin to get a free one.'" Should I suggest they make the BOGO "any sandwich FREE when you buy one of equal- or greater value"? -- image from mcdonalds.com.ph

Unless there's a significant number of people suggesting the same thing, it could end up being a waste of time. It's up to you though.

@mythociate By sharing your thoughts about it just as you did here. No guarantees though

@cupkitties Yes, that's the start. But it requires that others (including you ) take 'the next step' and share my 'sharing my thoughts!' Do you agree that the B.O.G.O. ought to include all menu-items (maybe they could do 'order one sandwich, get one of equal or lesser value free')?

So how do I get 'a significant number of people' to make the same suggestion?

It's a sandwich. In the greater scheme of things, it probably isn't worth the effort. Just enjoy your quarter-pounder or egg mcmuffin and focus your attention to the bigger, better parts of life. Getting upset about something so small isn't worth it :)

@queenofcats "the bigger, better parts of life"---much-easier to get to when I have 'freedom of choice' of whatever-sandwich-I-want if I want to B.O.G.O. But why should my freedom be restricted?

What bugs me is around here it seems so limited now in what they seem to offer for discounts. I never see the BOGO on Big Macs and QPC anymore. Maybe they feel it would hurt their business when they offer these?

many offers here are also limited to certain terms and conditions. Most of the time the things that are cheaper or don't sell well are what the options are for freebies.

So would you sign 'a petition saying they should make the changes I suggest'?
