Can you believe how time flies? It's already 3 days into 2017.
Time is really a mystery. Why does it always have to move forward? Why doesn't it move backwards too? Or does it? How do we know?
Well, I am just trying to grapple with these questions. Let me know your views too. It would be quite interesting.

Time could possibly move forward, backwards, and sideways. If that is true, then our brains would simply filter some of the movements of time to avoid confusion and an overload of information. There are some people that see the future, some that have visions of the past. Is it possible that their minds possess the ability to move in more than one way? I love talking about time.

Our mind in its present state sees time as linear. Moving forward and creating notions of past with the help of memory and that of future through imagination.
Yes there are people who could be seeing ahead and backwards. One prime example is Nostradamus.
But the biggest philosophy of time is that it is multi-dimensional. We are on the periphery, it seems, of the 5th dimension of time. Mind as it is cannot comprehend beyond the 5th.

@lyanhnan I am not familiar with Nostradamus. Could you enlighten me on the subject? :)

@queenofcats Nostradamus was a 16th century French prophet and his prophecies have baffled experts down the ages with their astonishing accuracy.
He is alleged to have predicted many historical events including 9/11, the rise of Hitler and Donald Trump’s presidential victory.
The most terrifying of the alleged prophecies for 2017 is over global warming and threats of biological warfare and terrorism.

I can vouch for this by experience. Kids do take us back in time. One doesn't need a wormhole to take a walk back in time. Thank you very much for sharing.
