Doctors with Beards

What do you think of doctors having beards? There have been reports on TV here about beards in general having problems with being full of bacteria, etc. So I think I would be uncomfortable with being treated by a doctor who had a beard. Would they clean it between each patient, etc.? It seems to me that this would be especially hard for an ER doctor to do like the host on the TV show The Doctors who about a year or so ago grew a beard and still has it.

Let's ask @allen0187 What's your opinion on this, brother? I haven't seen a bearded doctor yet, but I don't care being treated by one. But I guess if you are a surgeon, that would be a different story. Not sure if they'd allow it in the operating room.

I'm fully bearded and I don't have a problem being treated by a bearded doctor. Glad, you remember me, my dear sister @toniganzon !
