Losing Sleep Over Money

I am in a crucial moment of my life. This February I intend to apply for my permanent residency here in Australia. I am juggling work and school. To make it worst I don't seem to be saving any money at all. It feels like I'm working to pay rent and groceries. I don't know if I can afford my residency and it's making me lose sleep.
I'm thinking of getting a credit card but I'm not sure what I need to have to qualify for one.

Welcome to the cruel world. If you get a credit card, be aware of the dangers of credit card debt which is an easy trap to fall into.

We all have had those sleepless nights stressing over money. I hope everything will work out for you and that you will figure out a solution soon. Talk to your bank and see what they have to say.

@Happy2BeMe Kudos to my parents who managed to raise 3 kids and pay up for their tuition. I really can't bother them anymore for help.

Every time you feel yourself getting stressed, think about what is happening right now, at this moment. Your residency is not until February.. is it really worth worrying about right now? Can you do anything about it right now?
Always focus on the present moment and not on a problem that is in the future.
Saving up your change is a good start.. that's what I do. It takes time, but I have $70 after just a couple months, and it was all just spare change and $1 here and there.

Hi Kats! I love this advise. I've actually decided to be proactive about it. If I got no shifts I immerse in online earnings. I've gathered 27$ from online last month, this month I'm aiming for more. I joined a new mobile app that pays for pictures. So far so good. I'm going to do my best.

isn't there any agency that offers free legal advice that you can talk to? there might be options you're not aware of.

Then go to the bank and apply for one. I'm sure it's a HELL expensive working and studying over there. Don't sacrifice sleep, it's gonna make you nuts. worst, get sick.
