Fried Potatoes

Usually grandsons fiance here cooks a meal in the evening, once in a while they will get fast food and ask me if i want some and whoever cooks I eat what they make. earlier grandson said they was getting 4 bucks worth of chinese food and more if I wanted some. I don't care much for that food so I said no and went and made me some fried potatoes. I love fried even though it takes more to prepare them. why I don't often do them.
lol. anyway I sometimes melt cheese (velveeta) in them etc. So I took a few bites though before I thought to take a photo. yes, I even eat them with bread and butter. Like I said, this has been a get your exercise day.

@bunnybon7 You're a tiny thing and can eat fried foods. I can't, so I eat fried potatoes sparingly.

Whatever you want to make to eat will do you good rather than eat something that you do not want. A few times I will eat "Taters" yes but mainly like you I make my own the taste is always so much better.

I would make them too given half the chance. I know its a bit of a bind to do prepare them but the taste is out of this world because you have made them and with bread and butter. Later you can finish it off with those cookies you mentioned. Fabulous.

maybe. but i am trying to gain some weight and besides when i worked as a caregiver for elderly, nearly all the really old ones ate things like that. lol

Fried taters, syrupy potatoes, baked potatoes, french fries, I love them all.
Syrupy is my favorite though.

We love potatoes made at home. Baked is our favorite. We don't care what type they are, but do prefer purple sweet potatoes.

to me its like a staple. my daughter seems to make pasta as a staple side. not me, we always had potatoes with most every meal. fixed according to what we were haveing

Ooo fried potatoes are good. I like my potatoes in the form of fries, curly fries or steak fries. ha ha I meant to ask where you're located --- 4 bucks worth of Chinese food wouldn't be much at all around here. Maybe a soup or an appetizer. If you're lucky.

we are near Holiday and Spring Hill Florida. might be because there is such compitition here with fast food places . plus, its a poor area. other things are quite high
