Garage/yard sale

I love going to yard sales me and my mom call each other yard sale queens because we basically stop at everyone we come to and buy something and we have gotten some great deals from them some stuff brand new and in great shape. saves alot of money. My dad dreads seeing a yard sale unless of course something is there that catches his eye then we are the ones dragging him out of one because he gets to talking and it takes us 10 minutes to get him back in the car and that after we have looked and went through things. And we also hit the thrift shops also. And the money we save on stuff can buy us a treat or something we need. Once we bought half what the woman had set out and we didn't haggle any of the prices she had on things and she gave us all that she had of her yard sale and that was quite a bit but she said she was happy with how much she sold and so she was a very nice person and gave it all to us which we took and passed out to the other members of the family and friends who could use the stuff. I hate passing up a yard sale cause I always get a feeling maybe I'm passing up a good deal on something..

I love garage saling, but find I make more money on ebay. So I shop at garage sales and sell on ebay. Best thing I found was a antique dresser for $2.00.

I dont think I've actually been to one! my parents had one before thye moved house last year, and some lady went into the house and wanted to buy the fridge lol I do like going to markets though

yes I love to go to garage/yard sales, most everything I have I have bought at such sales. It's a great way to save money and it keeps the cash in your community

Yes garage sales are wonderful things and such a boon for everyone. Some people get rid of what they no longer want, and make a little extra money while others get what they want for a little bit of money. I don't often get to them these days, simply because of the distance but can remember how much fun it was to find a bargain. :)

Sadly, garage sales are not very popular in my country. We do have a few flea markets though. I would really love to go, and dig out vintage stuffs!
