When Hope Dies

I was raised with my grandmother and great grandmother around our family. I did not realize that they too had hopes and dreams for their lives until I became an adult. I saw some of them fulfilled and some did not come to fruition. I later learn my granny stop hoping. I was glad she had 84 years, but I recognize apart of her had already died when she stopped having hope.
I do realize life can beat you up really bad. People can do somethings to your joy that can leave you in shambles. I decided that hope would be one of things I would not surrender. I will hope in spite of every obstacle because without a hope for something greater, I just exist and not live. Don't surrender your hope no matter what.

@1creekgirl, thank you for kind words. I had the pleasure of learning from others if I did not hope for anything, that is what I would get, nothing!

@amitkokiladitya , you are your greatest cheerleader, but probably your worst critic as well. Greatness, hope and joy all begins on the inside and that is a life long journey not a destination. The wonderful part of life is that we can all learn from one another! Have a fantastic weekend.

Hope is the little bird that sings even when it's snowing. Whoever said that I don't know but I remember it.
