I think my husband feels very, very guilty for giving me his cold.
It hit me worse than his cold hit him.
He never likes it when I'm ill and does go out of his way to make me feel better.
He went out of his way a couple of days ago when he left our home for his therapy session a bit earlier than usual. He bought me flowers, returned home to surprise me, then made his therapy appointment on time.
I had to trim the stems, find a vase, add the water, clean the mess, and arrange the flowers. I broke a few stems by accident, so looked for a small vase for them.
It left me worse for the wear, but very pleased.

That big one is a pink hydrangea. They don't last too long when cut. Yes, he can drive and has been doing so for a couple of months now. One hand is stronger than the other, and one arm is stronger, too. He just can't lift anything heavy or raise his arms above his head - YET!

Those are very beautiful flowers. I'm glad your husband thought about you enough to bring flowers, although you had to do all the work to display them!
