Have you grown up?

I don't mean do you have a mortgage/job etc, I mean have you grown up mentally? Do you still have an inner child? Or has the inner child been told to go sit in the corner and think about what they've done? I know I still haven't 100% grown up, I don't think I want to either.

As learning never stops so does the growing in life. Learning itself is growth, i'd say. There has been phenomenal changes in life since the day i had stepped out of my house for building my career. When I look back, i could see the impeccable growth in my mindset. You should never loose the kid within you, it keeps you young and happy. Life is so much meaningful and fullfilling if you carry a smile everywhere you go and everymoment.

I think it is good to be like a child once in a while.

Yes I have grown up but I still have that inner child. Why get rid of it. I mean, look, I am still young. Although others might think I am old. I don't care. I still act childish at times. I see nothing wrong with it. I still have life in me, why waste it.

@Clairelouiser That is correct. We should always look forward to what tomorrow might bring.

Precisely, there is no way we were just born to pay bills and die! A good, happy and fun life is important for a well rounded individual. @inertia4

Exactly we cannot define 'grown-up' because everyone will have their own ideas about it.... After all, what matters is being yourself either grown-up or childish

The child inside of us always lives but as we grow up it is important to conciously tend to keep it for having fun not to dominate our lives. If we want to grow up mentally first we need to accept responsibility for our actions, ourselves and for those that we care about. After that we need to throw away all the childish needs and games we play to get something we want or to get someone to do something. The acceptance of responsibility is the key step

@Pletvarec That's very true, you need to have fun, but not everything can be fun.
