Sunday is the last day of my Christmas break and I will be heading back to my college campus in the mountains. My father will be taking me back because they are calling for a lot of snow and my car isn't a good snow car. Plus I have never had to drive in the snow because we rarely ever get it in my hometown and he doesn't want my first time driving in it to be going up a mountain. If we get as much snow as they are calling for then we may not have classes on Monday or we may have a delay or early closing. I am ready for some snow, though.
After a month break off from school (which I really needed) I am glad to be going back. My classes this semester seem to be a lot more fun and interesting than the first semester. I am taking a Genetics class, Chemistry 2, a Child Psychopathology class, a Brain & Behavior class, and a Courtship & Relationships class. I am excited to get more into my psychology major and almost being done with my biology major. Only got three more classes for biology to be done with it.
I also miss my friends and working. My bosses are super nice and they will be extremely excited for me to come back. They have offered me a job for when I graduate which I would love to take if I was staying in that area after graduating. If I get accepted to App State for grad school then I will be considering their job offer, but I am looking more into online grad school so I can work at home doing something more in my majors field.
Are you guys excited about anything that is coming up soon?

I attend Lees-McRae College. It is a small private college in Banner Elk, Nc. I am junior this year and I am double majoring in Biology and Psychology. I want to get my Masters in mental health psychology/counseling. Eventually want to get my PhD but that will be a lot later on down the road. I also want to get a degree in photography and/or business.

@CaseyRoss9966 That's awesome that you are at Lees-McRae. I live not too far from there. We go to Boone a lot to hike and check out the waterfalls in that area! We love it up there.

@scottcoleson Wow. I never thought I would talk to someone on here that actually knew the school. Since I have been going there I have been running into a lot of people that know of the school and there have been tons that live in Boone and have never heard of the college before. I believe I talked to someone on here last year that went to App State and grew up in/around Boone and had never heard of the place. Went to the beach at the start of December and met a woman at Fort Macon who attended the college. I really love it there. I love the snow, the people, and the whole aesthetic of the place.
