Good afternoon.Been gone for most of the day.The snow is very light out there. Every now and then some of us have experience with worst meal. What was yours?the worst meal that you ate out of politeness .? Many years ago and I believe that the worst meal that I had at that time was vegetarian. These people were very into it.We had some sort of soy casserole. Was plain awful. No taste. Then again I hate soy very much.I tried it and gag. Sorry, guys for those who love this stuff.I do not and not going to apologize for it. and some sort of rice that I could not identify. If I cannot identify any food that I am supposed to eat.Well I will not do so. This is not an insult to the host.I hate the stuff What we your worse meal ever Photo public domaine.

My worst was not a meal but some biscuits to have with a cup of tea after I had given a talk. The lady who served them explained that she didn't eat biscuits herself but they kept some in a tin for speakers. These were really old and stale and soft. I only ate one. Then she took the remainder, wrapped them in silver paper and put them back in the tin for the next month's speaker to 'enjoy'. At least the cup of tea was fine.

No, that doesn't sound very appetizing to me either, I dislike soy. I think that my worst meal is actually a tie. I know that we were at a wedding a couple of years ago, and the roast beef and chicken meal, which is pretty standard at weddings, was terrible. I didn't eat more then a 1/4 of my plate. Another lady at our table didn't even eat that much. It was just tasteless, no seasoning. And then many years ago, when I was still in high school, we had a terrible snow storm. And the hydro went out at home. So my Dad drove my grandparents, who lived in the little house beside us on the farm, and us 4 kids into town. They dropped us kids off at the convent, my aunt is a nun, and they had lots of extra room because the school beside them used to be a boarding school We had beans and wieners one night for supper. I went to bed hungry that night!

Being an incredibly picky eater I just can't be polite when it comes to food. I will not eat something I don't like the look, texture, and taste of to be polite. I just can't.

I always tell people that I can not eat some foods so I need to know what they are going to have. If I do not like what they are having I will not go. I will make up an excuse.

We are a vegan/vegetarian household and use REAL food, not make believe products dehydrated in a factory somewhere. Will not eat anything out of politeness, so can't list anything. Have pushed some items around on a plate over the years while conversing with those eating what that was!

The worst thing I ever tasted was barbequed raccoon. My husband told me it was pheasant so I would try it. I spit it out as fast as I could! As for deer meat, I don't care for it except as burger. My husband grinds it up with a little beef fat and It really makes spaghetti, chili, and soup more flavorful.

It was scampi in a fairly posh restaurant that the headteacher at the first school I taught at took us in celebration at successfully passing our probationary year. I thought it would come covered in breadcrumbs, like in a normal pub, but it didn't. Yucky. I ate it very slowly, trying not to gag. Never ordered scampi ever again!

I can't remember a really bad meal although I've had a few I haven't enjoyed, mostly because they have been too hot and spicy.

The last time I went to my sister in law's for Christmas dinner, instead of ham and all the fixings, she served lunch meat sandwiches. It was gross and I didn't eat.. we left early so I could go home and find something decent to eat.

We had a nanny growing up. She cooked dinner in her bra one night when our parents were out. I ran to my room because it make me ill. Otherwise, I've never had a bad meal.

Oh ick. I love soy, but only the right products. As crazy as it sounds I *love* soy hot dogs in the correct brand.
