REFLECTION on My 1month and 6days of work.

On my 1 month and 6 days of working in this company. I can say its a completely different company from the previous companies I've work with. In this company commonsense is not important and productivity is not of high value, which is actually good for most people because it makes life work better. How can I say this?..If your a Product Trainer, commonsense is if you don't know the Product you have to do a research or ask questions to the person who do so, so you will know about the product and you will know what to teach your Trainees. However, in this company if your a Product Trainer its actually okey if you will not research or make yourself knowledgeable about the Product, which is very-very different from other companies. And because of that I somewhat felt annoyed. But today I did some reflection on why I feel annoyed because this is what I usually do when I felt annoyed. I reflect to get to the root of why I felt it because I RARELY feel annoyed. I realize that I feel annoyed because I have this set of standards or model of reality on Product Trainers because I'm so used to working in big companies and this person who is our Product Trainer failed to meet that standards on how a Product Trainer should be. Today I realize, that Thought processing of mine should change because this is a small company. If in other companies a Product Trainer should be doing their Job and what is on their Job Description because it is their job. Well, here in this company its actually okey not to do it and just give the responsibilities of a Product Trainer to others. In Short, its okey to be too lazy. Why I can say it's okey to be too lazy?.. I can say it because in my 1 month and 6 days of working in this company the Product Trainer just photocopy maps or handouts, then gives it to us and tell us to memorize it. We are asked to do self study and he just sits around. Always giving quizzes but not Teaching where you elaborate things, and give more explanation. His like one of those Reporters at school where they stick a Visual Aid on the board and just read what was written on it, and then that's it, no additional explanation. The only difference is that his using a Projector and not a Visual Aid when there are times that he does stand up and say something infront, which rarely happens by the way coz his usually always sitting down and checking his phone. You can't ask him questions because he always don't know the answer. Now, majority of what he does is still the same. Come to work, sit down, check his Phone and watch something on his laptop, and this time its the Customer Service Rep that was asked to teach us about the Product because she's the one who took calls for the product. So, if your a lazy person its actually very nice to apply in this company because you can earn a higher position without you needing to do its Job Description. The company doesn't mind because its a small company. So today, I will strip all that I've learn from big companies especially the part where if you are given a Job, you really need to do your Job because it is your Job and its in your Job description. Anyway, this time if I am to give a Constructive Criticism I will just say "Please get all CCTV tapes from Day 1 to present and watch yourself on it on how you handle your class. Maybe you might realize some things that can help you become a better Trainer on your next class." Tomorrow will be a New day for me and I will no longer care.
