The Cold Makes Me Bitter.

Winter winter go away come again never!
Oh! Hello everyone. Been ages since I've written on here, so figured, why not post something? So here it is..
New Year is here, but it's the month of January and along with it here in Canada, it also brings in the snow, the cold, and the joy of freezing constantly even with the door and windows shut.
Cranking up the heaters is the last thing I try to do to save on some money with the electricity bill. Although it somehow manages to still be so expensive even when I attempt to freeze myself to death with the heaters on low.
So you could say I could live without winters, but unfortunately here in Canada, our Winters are the longest season. My favorite season is Spring. Thankfully in a few months that will be here, just can't seem to get here soon enough!
I guess this is a rant post, winter's are not my thing, and for some reason I often feel more depressed during this time of the year. Anyone else feel the same way? Maybe. you actually prefer winter's! Some do!
Anyways, besides the cold. Hope everyone is enjoying 2017 thus far!

Sorry you have to deal with the cold as well. It started snowing here in November. Sometimes it does though in October. Thankfully this year it did come a month later, but still have a few more months of this cold before Spring finally settles in.

Well I'm glad you love it! It's actually been sunny outside, but the cold is really awful. It did start snowing a bit again though tonight. It looks pretty, I can give it that. It's just not so 'nice' to be outside in, or to go in a car. But as for when it's falling down and all sparkly, that's pretty.

I only like winter when. It comes to nice bong fires, image country girl! Spring and fall is my favorite season. I'm now going on two weeks with this cold. It's Mainly coughing and sinus infection. I've been sipping on NyQuil, my cold is about gone. Stay warm stay safe be sure to bundle up.

I'm glad you are starting to feel better. I always get a cold during the winter. Forgot to add that's another reason why I dislike winters. The good 'ol colds that like to come along with it. When I get them though it seems like they are never ending! I'll definitely try to keep warm!

Winter is always so icky! It's cold and there's so much ice in Canada! What are you going to do?! Don't freeze too much!

Yep! So much ice is right. You seem to find your way on the ice here a lot. Slipping and sliding a lot when we take our walks. I guess we will just use your excuse of being, 'top heavy'! I'll try not to freeze too much though, but sad for you, you're stuck with me here freezing at the moment! Spring will be much nicer, promise!

@ladyraven Nice tags there love! ha! Silly goose you! And no no, you can't take me down with you. You have to save me from the ice and keep save, don't ya know! I'll attempt to push you away though if you try just like the last time! Look who ended up in the snow though? Mwuaha!

We have had some nice days, and some cold ones as well. I also experience the high heating costs. Many people notice increased depression due to the lack of sunlight. February always feels like the longest month to me.

I can deal with a little cold and snow, which is what we get here in Georgia , but not all the time like what you experience in Canada. I prefer Summer. It is nice to see you back here. You look nice in your new photo.

Yeah that would be nice but only way I could do that is if I was an American citizan. Anywhere in Canada this time of the year is not warm at all.

@x0MandyLynn0x That line helped me through nights with sick babies, months that had more days than money and anytime the going got really tough. Hang in there. The days are getting longer and each day brings us closer to spring.

@Morleyhunt I think that motto is beautiful! I have to think that for my 'cold' I'm starting to get. Those seem to come along with winters. I started to get one before but it somehow went away. I feel one coming back though! So hoping to feel better soon, thanks!

Hi Mandy! Greetings from New Delhi, India. Here we are enjoying winters too and since winters only arrive in my state for a couple of months, we absolutely cherish it. No doubt, spring is the most beautiful season and we are expecting it from late Feb or March of this year. 2017 had been great so far and I would wish it stays great for everyone :)

Hey! Well that's a lot better if you only have them a couple months. I can understand why you would enjoy them more there! We have winters here for about...5-6 months! So it's quite a bit compared to most places! That's why when Spring comes along, I'm like.."Yay! A relief!" Glad your 2017 is great so far, and thank you!

They may want the cold but once they got in it, I bet they would be regretting ever wishing they had winter. It's definitely no fun to be outside in!
