Job vacancies are many times offered by frodulent parties with the hope that they will ask for payment in the end. Last week I got a link from a friend about a job vacancy. I only realized that it was a fake address after I was notified that I was eligible for an interview. It was fake because the telephone numbers they used is not the same as the official address. The postal addresses are the same. Secondly I was asked to reply it via an SMS to the mobile phone number they provided. The genuine employer never requires applicants to reply via sms as far as I know.
Did it ever happen to you?

Such cyber crime can actually be traced from their own domain name.

No, I didn't. the genuine employer must have been aware of this, and should have made a report about this.

@amitkokiladitya I think I should inform the genuine website owner of the party who uses their official designation with a different web address. They will investigate it sue the party if they are proved to be fraudulent.

I get bogus offers in my e-mail sometimes. People would do everything to cheat and gain money, always good to do a background check before responding.

Their target is that applicants should use a travel agent of their own choice who will arrange all tickets. The travel agent will require applicants to send travel cost, which will be reimbursed by the company. If applicants do not use the appointed travel agent, there will be no reimbursement.

@yanzalong They're clearly assuming that many people are really naive to be lured into that kind of job offer.

No, before applying, I do background researches first. It actually takes me a day or two before I finally submit my application. Also, if I apply online, either I go to the company website or on a reputable job marketplace online.
