My Pajamas are not considered "Fashion Pants"

Hey...Hope you all doing great today.
I am having a little time consuming issue where I have to keep telling people "no I've never worn pants before for fashion sake (meaning worn outside the home or whenever I am on the go). They claim to not consider my pajamas as "pants" even though they can't justify why. I wear mostly skirts and occasionally dresses (skirts and dresses are body fitted but not tight nor are they "old fashioned styled").
Most dress I wear are designed clothing with either my style or something I see and want to copy. But for me...my pajamas are pants and is still "fashion sake".
Am I the only female you know like this?

I may be old fashioned, but I don't think pajama pants should be worn outside the home. Then again, I've seen young ladies wearing things out in public that pass for pants that leave no secrets to be revealed on their wedding night, so maybe pajama pants aren't so bad.

I do wear those at times but only in the house or probably outside the house if I am there to get something or such.

I rarely wear skirts and dresses. I normally wear jeans or shorts. Around the house I will also wear leggings and sweat pants. My pajamas are certainly stylish, though, and I call them my "lounge lizard" pants. My pajamas have even been mistaken for an actual outfit!
