Deciding whether to see a movie or not

It seems these days that people may not go to the movies to see a movie with a certain actor in it (even if they are a fan of that actor) simply because of something that person said or did in the realm of politics, in another area, or in their life. Do the words and actions of actors outside the movie industry affect your decision on whether you will see their movies or not? For me... It doesn't matter what an actor did or said in the realm of politics or anywhere else. I go to see a movie for the story being told, for the actor's portrayal of the character they play, for its connection to me, for the way it makes me feel, etc. What that person does outside the silver screen makes no difference to me. I keep the two separate as one has no effect on the other in my opinion.

I do not support certain actors as their actions do cloud characterizations and a desire not to support those that speak ill of and comdemn people like me.
