Got Active with My Son

So the plan to eat healthy didn't 100% go as planned today. My breakfast consisted of one banana, some beef stew, and a while after that I had a cup of coffee. My son had an uncrustable sandwich. After that I decided to take my son outside so we can rid of all if not some of that energy this little boy keeps pent up inside. We ran around chasing each other, had a snow ball fight, and he eventually wanted to swing on his swing set. When i saw he was starting to get really cold because the snow soaking into his gloves and pants I decided to call it a day and bring him inside for lunch. What did you do today to get active? Do you go out in the snow to have fun? What do you have for lunch on snowy winter days?

That's a sneaky way to lose weight. Eat light and run after your child in the outdoors.

Doing housework is about as active as I get these days. Sounds like you had a lot of fun.

Not much on my end. I actually had a doctors appointment today. And while I was there I told him about my ear and he said I have a slight infection. So he gave me medication and I am home resting. I doubt I will be too active tomorrow. But you seemed to enjoy your day with your son. I remember running around with my son when he was smell. Boy did he have tons of energy. I tried my best to keep up.

@IvySaysHi That they do. After all, they are so young compared to us. It is always hard for us parents to keep up. But we do our best.

I love scary movies. Did you know when watching a scary movie that really makes you scared you are burning calories? Did you know being cold also burns calories?
