punishment for rapist..

I believe these men should be castrated, beaten and/or lashed harshly! They should receive some level of punishment that will scar them for life just as the victims have to go through.

Don't know what other countries do but in America it does not appear that the appropriate punishment is meted out for such a heinous criminal act, which is not only a violation of the victim's body but a permanent emotional and psychological scar on their mind. People say castration is a proper form of punishment. Our justice system is very flawed. Because of that there could be a miscarriage of justice and the alleged violator could be falsely accused. We had had many instances of that. If the men had been castrated, there is no way to correct the unjust injustice against him. Also, what if it was a woman did the raping? It can happen, in a physical sense. But also, some women are “accomplices” and assist predators with obtaining or gaining access to victims. In my mind they are equally guilty. I'm not so quick to recommend castration. But if the crime can be proven, then 100 years with no possibility of parole would be satisfactory. That would apply if it's a man or a woman who committed the crime.
