Speechpad job

I decided to try again to get transcription jobs in Speechpad. Today I made $1 for doing around 4 minutes of audio. I did not start early this January because my sister use my earphones. I love transcription jobs than writing. Some audio files are easy you can understand everything that the speaker is saying and you will just type it. I want to transcribe than to write a 1000 word article. Speechpad pay .25 cents per audio minute so you will need 4 minutes to get $1. Hope to get some transcription jobs this year 2017.

It's nice that you're earning from it. I've tried a sample 6-minute test of transcribing but I got lots of errors in the result that's why I decided not to continue. But I might consider trying that website you've mentioned, I might get luck on it.

I have experience working in a transcription company so it's easy for me but if you have no experience it's really a difficult job. You need to have lots of experience. There are qualifications test and they are all easy to pass

@averygirl72 I see. Yeah, I was reading the guide several hours ago, and I think it will take me a long time to familiarize all the rules written there. It's nice that you have experience working in a company, so now, you can do home based, which can also be a good source of income.

Good that it's going pretty well for you. I did some transcription work years ago but now have to focus more on my writing work. Was it easy for you to get approved when you first applied?

I'm also from the Philippines. I'm quite interested in joining Speechpad. Are you still active in it? I don't have an experience transcribing audio files. But I have an online job before wherein I need to listen to a recorded phone conversation. And I would summarize the conversation. So I think I could also do the task at Speechpad.

What's the name of the online job that you do? Speechpad has few jobs. Some days there's no job. I just visit once in a while and see if there's something I can do

It's easy if you have experience. You need to train your ear and be good in identifying what the speaker is really saying. Some files are easy, the speaker speaks slow and clear. Most of the time it's difficult and I don't do difficult audios. I choose them

I haven't tried transcription jobs. Have you tried rev.com? I am not sure if it is available globally. Looks like a good site.

I have experience working in transcription company that's why it's a bit easy for me but if you have no experience you will find the work very hard. You need to accurately transcribe what the speaker is talking about
