Support the president?

I am an Obama fan, I like him and his family. However, he's done with the job and another president was elected not by the people but the electoral college. I don't live in America and I'm not an American. But it's such a powerful country that a change of leadership affects most countries as they are the world power. I don't like politics, but will support only if speculated outcomes support what I believe in, such as equality, tolerance, humanity... The new president sounds like a bully, he doesn't welcome trivial rumours and criticisms where other presidents would choose to ignore. We can only hope for the best. What do you think of the new president of the US?

I do support him. I'm not happy with his unbridled tongue, but I'm hopeful that the men he surrounds himself with can help tame him, or help him tame his tongue anyway.

@vickyrose Not necessarily. Many like his candor and open way of talking. If he sticks to his principles and most of his promises about making America great again that will go a long way and hopefully override his loose tongue.

He is a complete A-S-S. He needs to be removed. He will destroy relations with many countries around the world. America is in big trouble.

@LadyJJ I doubt he will fix the country. And besides, it's not broken. The country as fine under Obama.

Trump hasn't destroyed any diplomatic relationships with our Allies. In fact most of those he has met with are saying positive things about their interactions. People don't understand that Trump is not a professional politician like his predecessor is. Trump is a pragmatist. Solving Problems is his concern and he has surrounded himself with people who know how to face problems head on and come up with solutions. His presidency may very well Turn this nation around financially. After incurring the largest debt in the history of this country President Obama left this country in a very precarious financial state. That could cause a serious national security issue so I hope our president is successful in reining in spending and bringing us out of debt.

@inertia4 I don't know whether Trump can fix the country or not but I do know having close to $20 trillion in national debt is certainly not fine. That is Obamas Legacy.

You are right about the bully part and it grows scarier and more threatening daily. This is the worst mistake ever made by the USA.

What is even scarier James Higgins, is the lawlessness of the liberals that are rioting and destroying property and attacking people. This is overt criminal behavior. It is a giant temper tantrum that makes us to appear as low intelligent savages rather then civilized people.

@JamesHxstatic Portland Oregon,( I am sure you are already aware of the Portland riot). Seattle Wa. Hagerstown Maryland, Pennsylvania, Berkley Ca.San Diego, San Francisco just to name a few. Burning, Looting, destroying property and physically attacking people is criminal behavior. is legally called rioting.

I was taught to respect the office. I'm not an American but I don't understand how the name calling and mockery will improve this situation.

Just wish people would find other ways to show their dislike for him instead of the riots and such. I think overall he is going to take some getting used too but I am believing he will be Good for the US.

I think he's a disgrace, he's made me ashamed and embarrased to be an American for the first time in my entire life. He's also made me terrified that we're going to end up in a nuclear war for the first time in my life. He's unfit to be in charge of our nuclear codes and I think the 25th Amendment should be invoked NOW. He and his entire corrupt family seem to believe they're above the law, that they can just do whatever they want to do and benefit themselves on the backs of the taxpayers. Anyone who really believes he has the country's best interests at heart is in denial. The ironic, actually somewhat amusing thing is it's Trump's base supporters who will be hurt the most by his and the GOP's policies.

I do not like the new president, but I am not an American. We can only wait and see what's going to happen. I hope he will not damage too much his country.

I have not been an Obama supporter but I felt since he was the President, it was important to give him a chance to do the job. I believe that we should also give Trump a chance to do the job. He is the American president for at least 4 years.

Hopefully he won't last 4 years because if he does our country as we know it will be gone.
