God doesn't give you more than you can handle

I don't know if that reads as a threat or a promise. I guess it's all in how you look at it. I have been absent here on myLot for the last month. It has been a not too happy time and I had a lot of unpleasant things to take care of. My daughter had her little boy on December 15, that is the good news. He is beautiful. The day before he turned two weeks old he ended up in the hospital with severe respiratory distress and on oxygen. Four days late4r her was finally breathing well enough to go home. Thank goodness. The next evening my daughter, his mother, had a heart attack. They said she had coronary dissection due to pregnancy and put in a stint. She is only 37 years old. A few days later they let her go home and my mother passed away the following day. She passed in her sleep and we were thankful for that. Two days ago my daughter was put back in the hospital with high heart enzymes. I don't now what is going to happen, right now they are taking more tests trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I hope they find out soon. I am terribly concerned. I had a heart attack, just a little one, befor4e all of these things started happening so I am grounded here a few states away from my daughter so I can't see her. In any case it had been an adventure, not a good one, but an adventure for sure. They say God doesn't give you more than you can handle, I just wonder how much he is thinking I can handle. It's a good thing I have a sense of humor. Pray for us all please. I believe we need it. Image from Pixabay. I really do believe there is a rainbow at the end of all sorrow, pain, and worry. This photo has two of them.

I was wondering why you were not writing here anymore. This is an awful lot to handle for one person. Sending you some postive thoughts and hoping that your daughter gets some good answers with the right solution.

Congratulations to you and your daughter. Glad the baby was okay and hope that mom is too. A double rainbow is rare but I have seen a few in my 60+ years. My thoughts will be with you. Take care.

@HazySue ......I saw one right over our apartment one day a few years ago. Blood clots? That can't be fun.

I haveseen a double rainbow only once. My mom has passed on. My daughter is still dealing with blood clot issues. It should all resolve itself before too long.

I'm sorry to hear your adventure. Yes, I likewise believe that God would not give us anything that we could not handle. He is always there to watch us. But I guess, we can not avoid thinking why he gave such sorrows, worries, or whatever to us. I hope everything's fine now. I will include you and your family in my prayers too. Get well soon. You can do it.

It does cross the mind as to why everything that seems bad happens in the same time period. I guess the thing to do is to keep your faith thought it all and keep believing.

My goodness...I'm wondering if heart issues are hereditary? Sounds like it could be. At least the baby is ok...and hopefully your daughter and you will be..sorry about your mom. PS: I don't think God threatens.....

Oh, I didn't mean God was threatening, I just meant it is so much to handle. Heart conditions are hereditary, unfortunately it looks lie my daughter has taken after me. The baby is past it's respiratory issues and is wonderful now.
