Weirdest Phone Call Ever

After we took the tour of the YMCA yesterday we went to my brother in laws to play cards. About 2 hours after we left the Y I got a call on my cell phone. It was the girl who had given us the tour. She wanted to know if we were still there since we had left our dog in the car.
What????? No I told her we were not there and we had no dog in our car, my dogs were home in Connecticut. Obviously, she was confusing me with someone else but would you say this is one very weird call???

lol I have never left my dogs in the car in warm weather ever. In the winter they have stayed in the car while we eat on the way to the cottage but I would never endanger my babies. I will only eat at places where I can keep my eyes on my car, ain't nobody stealing my kids lol

@sallypup I haven't brought the kids to Florida yet, my doggie sitters take good care of them for me. We like to be able to go visiting friends and other things while we are down here and this way we don't have to worry about the babies.

@BelleStarr We have stayed at motels that weren't the greatest cause they at least allowed our pups to stay too.

I know that is exactly what I thought, did we look like doggie abusers? I was hoping they weren't calling the police on us!!

Very weird, yes. But maybe she was making the rounds with her calling and no one else owned up to being the culprit in that? If that's not what happened, she needs to figure out a better way to approach people.

Yes but I am curious how they thought they identified it as our car, we didn't give them any vehicle information!!

@BelleStarr That's why I find it very strange. Perhaps you had dog hair on you from home. Lol!

Not to Florida, we have our grandson doggie sitting for us. We want to be able to visit friends and stay overnight away from home so they are better off at home.

Yes that is a good thing but I found it rather disturbing since she could not have known which car was ours.

I hope that they discover who it was that left their dog in the car at least.

I suspect another member had their dog in the car and for some reason she thought it was us, of course it wasn't but yes why would you think it was us???????
