I think that our kids are not able to get the flavour of the nature which we enjoyed.
i have 2 kids under 8 yrs.
i feel they are missing a lot of things.
May be they are lucky to have the smartphones and play gadgets at an earlier stage. But that is nothing compared to the freedom the goodness of people nature we enjoyed.
i am really worried about them
wat about you

That's why I do bring my son closer to nature every vacation. It's a way for him to experience what life used to be sans the high tech gadgets.

I think the kids don't know how unhappy really they are - without nature, without values for evil and good. It is a very unhappy world that every day cries for charity and mutual relationships destroyed also by the gadgets intended to build the new communications and better interaction but unfortunately the results are negative. They did just the opposite.

Smartphones and play gadgets make kids lazy and unsocial. They also move away from nature.

@sans224 They do and are therefore become violent at times. Nature soothes our nerves which they should understand.

I think as a parent we have to be a good model and we have to make time. Why don't you take them out every weekend to either the park or zoo or even go fishing/camping. I am sure you and your children will enjoy the time out together.
