For some reason, I always associate African Americans with some beat music ....not something that is emotional kinda stuff. But I hate rap. Did you see the song? :)

That's a part of why I chose the Blues. Mark Twain was a friend to the black American, an abolitionist, etc. He and Susy probably would have liked the blues.

@vandana7 A lot of us who have been around for awhile (including my "older" black friends) are mortified by what has happened to "black music." Blues and black gospel were/are incredible. The "soul" music of the 60s and 70s was hard not to relate to. But much of rap is an abomination and an insult to black and white people alike.

That song incidentally, did not qualify as noise..lol

Honestly, your classical can be heard 24/7 and it is the kind of music we would never tire of..that may be the reason it is classical and other music we don't want to hear after sometime..the same song we wouldn't want to hear again ..also..I like your selection. :)

@vandana7 Even though I play mostly folk, bluegrass, swing, and Country, I LISTEN almost exclusively to jazz and classical.

I like Shadowfax. But like Alex DeGrassi more (also on Windham Hill Records).

@fishtiger58 Turning, Turning Back and Slow Circle are worth having. I think the tone is better on vinyl than on CD.

@TheHorse I like Ale Degrassi as well I have some of his stuff on my Windha Hill albums and some on my napster

Yes, I will agree with you, @Daljinder! The person who posted it for him also did a good job! I happen to know pony has a small doubt about his electronics expertise, so would likely not post something to YouTube on his own... That means he had technical assistance from someone. I know that someone wasn't me.... you don't know anyone on myLot who would be willing to help him, able to do that and have a good enough friendship with pony that he would have been willing to ask them, do you? I am just curious. (PS... I KNOW vanny didn't do that! LOL!)

@DaddyEvil Pony and this other person did have a middle man/woman which I insist was NOT Vanny ( ) LOL I don't know Pony that well. And when he can be so shy with his close friends then imagine him asking any stranger anything.

@TheHorse ..Hey, I also introduced you to it long ago with some pots being played...YouTube is such a blessing for me...I can be cooking in kitchen while it plays some songs..

@TheHorse Yes Bollywood music is always a fun to listen. Carnatic music is also good it makes our mind fresh.

Bollywood can be fun. My Indian neighbor/friend also introduced me to Carnatic music.

@silvermist Well, maybe you wouldn't. American music is quite diverse. We are ground zero for rap "music," which tends to make me projectile vomit on loved ones. Poor things.

I loved it...and some of it slowly kinda grows on you...you begin to enjoy i more...kinda..the more you listen to it. @TheHorse...I did enjoy your tune...and am looking forward to a few more from you...knowing what a perfectionist you are, I am sure...they would be great too. :)

Honestly, I did not know if Pony ever had a mustache...kinda all his pictures he has uploaded here...he has not sported that..whereas you have...if I remember right in the mullet photograph.

Well, we have two different types of music ...the notes are set in specific sequences and rhythms are varied and speed is varied..kinda..too complex for you to understand and me to explain. lol. What are the basic characteristics of blues music..why do you classify as such, and did you hear the song I have just uploaded? It is sung by a myLotter.

I think it was Pony who introduced me to B. B. King. :) Thank you for one more song...yes, I liked it. :) No...if I recall it was somebody else...I loved the instrument part in it. Singing...well, I need to develop taste for it...:)

This is classic. B.B. King didn't play "too many notes." He didn't have to.

Oh I forgot to mention that...he played those instruments...actually I was not sure which instrument he played...guitar or other instrument...nice that you heard it...he is very talented and writes very deep poetry..

When you have to fret with hooves, a lot of practice is required.

I liked a few English movies when I was young, and your classical music played in the background...some folk music too...so I like your music of that era. Childhood...we are happy and those notes trap it in them I suppose. I can't identify at all with rap..:(
